Sourcing

Classic Car Sourcing across Europe

Give us the brief. We search Germany and the wider European market, including cars never advertised.

Sourcing is patient work. Most of the best cars change hands quietly between collectors, restorers and estates. Our search runs through those channels first, then the open market, and every candidate is filtered before it reaches you.

How a search runs

A sourcing mandate is a defined project with a start, a reporting rhythm and a clear stop condition.

  • Brief: model, years, specification, colours, condition band, budget
  • Discreet enquiry through collector, restorer and estate contacts
  • Regular shortlist with photos and honest commentary
  • Reservation, then verification and negotiation

Markets we cover

Germany first — it holds the deepest stock and the best documentation culture — then Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, France and Scandinavia. Language, contract law and export practice differ in each; we handle all of it in German and English.

Saying no is part of the service

Because our fee is fixed in advance, we lose nothing by rejecting a car. Most vehicles we look at never reach your shortlist, and that is the point.

Common questions

How long does a sourcing mandate take?
For a common specification, weeks. For a specific colour combination or a rare option, it can take several months — we would rather wait than recommend the wrong car.
Can you source a car I have already found?
Yes. We can act on a single vehicle: verification, negotiation, contract, export and delivery, without running a full search.
