Buying guide

Buy a Classic Car from Germany

A concierge process built for international buyers who cannot inspect in person.

Buying a German-registered collector car from abroad is straightforward when the order of operations is right: brief, shortlist, reservation, verification, contract, payment, export, delivery. We run all eight steps for you and keep the paperwork in your name from the start.

The seven steps, in order

Most bad purchases happen because money moves before the file is read. We reverse that order.

  • 1. Written brief and budget
  • 2. Shortlist from private collections and specialist networks
  • 3. Reservation of the chosen vehicle
  • 4. Bilingual private-treaty contract
  • 5. Payment by SEPA transfer or crypto (5% discount)
  • 6. Export plates, customs and insured transport
  • 7. Delivery, handover protocol and full document file

What you receive before you commit

Detailed photography of paint, underbody, engine bay and interior, a video walkaround with cold start, the technician's written assessment, the service history and a clear statement of anything that needs attention.

Taxes, VAT and your home registration

For export outside the EU the commercial invoice is issued VAT-exempt where the rules allow it. Inside the EU we prepare the documents your registration office expects, including certified translations of the title and service records on request.
