Six points of care, from first inspection to the drive home.
Before a vehicle is presented, we review the registration documents and available service history, restoration invoices and supporting records. We compare the identity and specification in the paperwork with what is shown on the vehicle; where original records are unavailable, we tell you what is missing rather than filling in the gaps with assumptions.
Know what is documented before you decide.
A private seller is asked to demonstrate ownership, disclose known faults and provide clear photographs and documentation. We review the information before presenting a vehicle and raise discrepancies for clarification. Our role is to give you a more transparent picture of the vehicle and its seller, not just a polished listing.
Clear information, considered decisions.
The payment route and recipient account are confirmed in your signed purchase documents. Where a segregated client account is used for the transaction, funds are handled according to the agreed release conditions. Always confirm bank details with your Auto Zimmer contact through a known channel before sending any transfer; never rely on a changed account number in an unexpected message.
Only pay through the route named in your agreement.
For qualifying acquisitions, the seven-day period starts when delivery is confirmed. You can drive the vehicle up to 150 km and arrange an independent inspection by your own specialist. If you decide it is not right, contact us within that period so we can review the return under the signed agreement; the vehicle must remain in its delivered condition and be comprehensively insured.
Time to get to know the vehicle at home.
We coordinate enclosed transport from collection to handover, with insurance arrangements recorded for the journey. Your concierge explains the planned collection and delivery dates, the carrier details and the handover steps. At delivery, review the vehicle together with the transport paperwork and report any concern promptly.

One point of contact helps you navigate the dossier, discuss the purchase documents, arrange transport and follow up after delivery. You can ask for additional images, available records or clarification at any stage. We would rather answer a careful question early than leave you uncertain later.

The fine print, made clear
Your signed purchase agreement governs the specific terms of your acquisition. These are the key conditions to review before committing:
Protection applies to qualifying vehicles acquired through Auto Zimmer under a signed purchase agreement; confirm the applicable terms for the individual vehicle before payment.
The seven-day home-trial period starts on the confirmed delivery date shown on the handover or transport record.
Driving during the trial is limited to 150 km. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, allowing for the agreed trial use.
Comprehensive insurance must be maintained by the buyer throughout the trial period.
If a return is approved under the agreement, refund timing and arrangements are confirmed in writing; refunds are made to the originating payment account.
Payments to an account outside the payment route set out in the signed agreement are not covered. Confirm any proposed change directly with your Auto Zimmer contact.
